RRB Station Master Selection Process 2026
If you are preparing for the RRB Station Master post under notification CEN 08/2026, you need to clear two main stages. First, you will take a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT). Those who qualify will move to the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), followed by document verification and medical tests.

You get a total of 120 minutes to complete the 100-question paper. Be careful when marking your answers because there is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for every wrong attempt.
Subject-Wise Syllabus Topics
- Mathematics: Number system, ratios, percentages, time and distance, algebra, geometry, probability, and basic statistics.
- Basic Science: Units of measurement, mass and weight, work, energy, friction, heat, temperature, and simple machines.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Understanding tables, pie charts, graphs, text passages, and data sufficiency questions.
- Logical Capability & Reasoning: Binary logic, syllogisms, blood relations, puzzles, rankings, coding-decoding, and English reading comprehension passages.
CBAT and Final Weightage Rules
Candidates equal to 8 times the vacancy count will qualify for the CBAT round. To pass CBAT, you must get a minimum T-Score of 42 in each test battery without any category relaxation. The final merit list will be calculated by taking 70% of your CBT score and 30% of your CBAT score.
