The Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan has officially released the schedule for the post-matric (Uttar Matric) scholarship for the 2026-27 academic session. This scheme provides financial assistance to students belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EBC, MBC, and DNT who are studying in government or recognized private colleges. The online application portal for students will open on August 15, 2026. To avoid last-minute glitches, students are advised to check their eligibility and keep their documents ready in advance.

Eligibility Criteria and Income Limits
- The candidate must be a resident of Rajasthan.
- Students must be enrolled in recognized post-matric courses (excluding classes 11 and 12).
- For SC, ST, OBC, EBC, MBC, and DNT candidates, the annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2.50 Lakhs.
- For the Chief Minister Sarvajan Higher Education Scholarship, the annual family income limit is Rs. 5.00 Lakhs, applicable to students studying in listed national-level institutes.
Essential Documents and Application Process
To apply for the scholarship, students must have a valid Jan Aadhaar Card. Important details like Name, Category, Domicile, and Family Income will be fetched directly from the Jan Aadhaar database. Therefore, students should make sure all their details are fully updated in Jan Aadhaar before applying. Additionally, a bank account linked with Aadhaar and DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) is mandatory to receive the scholarship directly into the account.
- First, complete your One-Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) or via the NSP OTR mobile application.
- Ensure you complete the mandatory Aadhaar Face RD or Biometric verification.
- Log in to the Rajasthan SJE Portal or use your SSO ID to access the scholarship application dashboard.
- Carefully choose your respective college, course, and fee details as listed by your college.
- Upload any required documents in color scan format, verify the details, and submit your form.
