- Vice Principal: Requires Post-Graduation with 50% marks and a B.Ed. from a recognized university. Candidates must have Vice Principal experience in Pay Level 10 (₹56100-₹177500), or 6 years as PGT/Lecturer in Level 8 (₹47600-₹151100). Age limit: 35 to 45 years.
- PGT (All Subjects): Requires Post-Graduation in the relevant subject with 50% marks and a B.Ed. from a recognized university. Knowledge of Computer Applications is essential. Age limit: Maximum 40 years.
- TGT (All Subjects including Computer Science, Physical & Health Education, Art Education): Requires Graduation in the relevant subject/combination with 50% marks and a B.Ed. from a recognized university. Selection Process & Exam Pattern for AEES Teachers
- Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a Computer Based Test (CBT). This will be followed by a Skill Test (for PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, Balvatika Teacher) or an Interview (for Principal, Vice Principal).
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The CBT will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). It will be for 150 marks for Principal/Vice-Principal posts or 120 marks for other teaching posts. The exam duration will be 2 hours 30 minutes. There will be NO negative marking for wrong answers.
- CBT Syllabus (Principal/Vice-Principal): Subjects include General English, General Hindi, General Reasoning, General Knowledge, Basic Computer Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, Understanding of Learner, Understanding of Teaching-Learning, Planning & Organisation of Teaching-Learning, Creating Conducive Learning Environment, School Organisation & Leadership, Perspective in Education, Management, Supervision & Leadership, Administration & Finance.
- CBT Syllabus (PGT/TGT/Librarian/PRT/Balvatika Teacher): Subjects include General English, General Hindi, General Reasoning, General Knowledge, Basic Computer Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, Teaching Methodology, and Subject-specific knowledge.
- CBT Qualifying Marks: To be shortlisted for the next stage, UR/EWS candidates need 60% in CBT, while SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates need 54% for Principal/Vice-Principal posts. The minimum percentage might be reduced to 55% for UR/EWS and 49% for reserved categories if enough candidates are not available.

- Tie-breaking Rule: If two candidates have the same total marks, the older candidate will be ranked higher. If there is still a tie, the candidate with higher CBT marks (for Principal/Vice-Principal) or a higher percentage in the essential educational qualification (for other posts) will be ranked higher.
